Chine, éventail érotique, 19ème siècle.

Rare éventail chinois à sujet érotique. Il montre deux couples enlacés dans un jardin orné d’ un rocher percé. Celui de droite est allongé sous une natte placée sous un saule , celui de gauche est assis sur un fauteuil sous un bananier et est accompagné par un serviteur.

Il s’agit probablement d’une illustration du Jin Ping Mei le plus grand roman érotique chinois.

Encres et pigments sur papier, monture en os et palmier, rivet d’origine.

China, erotic fan, 19th century.

 Rare Chinese fan with an erotic subject.  It shows two couples in a garden adorned with a pierced rock.  The one on the right is lying under a mat placed under a willow, the one on the left is seated on an armchair under a banana tree and is accompanied by a servant.

 It is probably an illustration of Jin Ping Mei, the greatest Chinese erotic novel.

 Inks and pigments on paper, bone and palm sticks, original rivet.
